Multicultural Issues
As a first-generation Middle Eastern-American, I have had the unique opportunity to observe and experience many of the common challenges that immigrants and their first-generation American children face. While I have observed so many of the differences that make cultures unique and special, I have also learned that people of various cultural backgrounds tend to experience similar struggles. One common struggle is the challenge of trying to fit in with a foreign culture, while trying to remain connected to the culture that is so deeply rooted within oneself.
Due to my first-hand experiences of being raised within two vastly different cultures, I am uniquely suited to support people as they navigate similar struggles.
Therapy for Residents of Middle Eastern Countries
I am able to practice online therapy not only with people residing within the state of California, but with people residing in the Middle East as well.
